[2007.03.29] Robert Plant with Summer Concert in Bulgaria

The legendary Robert Plant is coming this summer to Bulgaria for a huge live show, officials from the Kavarna town municipality announced on Thursday.

The former Led Zeppelin lead singer will stage his concert on July 6 in the near seaside town of Kavarna.

The concert will start at 8 pm on the Kaliakra stadium.

This is the second time Plant will come to Bulgaria after he visited the country in 1998 with another of the Zeppelins, guitarist Jimmy Page.

[2007.03.29] Led Zeppelin World Tour exhibition

A series of photographs taken of Led Zeppelin’s much-celebrated Sydney concert in the summer of 1972 by local photographer, Ted Harvey, has become the foundation of a Led Zeppelin World Tour exhibition.

The exhibition, being launched at the Lismore Regional Gallery on Wednesday April 4, also includes artworks from well-known national and local artists. Gallery Director, Steven Alderton says the exhibition is impressive.

“Robert Plant particularly was impressed and he said to Ted over the years, these are the best photos ever taken of Led Zeppelin.

“They are really definitive and capture Robert Plant and Jimmy Page…the whole band right through the concert.”

[2007.03.26] Robert Plant To Perform In Malta

According to MaltaStar.com, Robert Plant, the legendary frontman of the 1970s rock band LED ZEPPELIN, is one of the international artists that will play live during the Malta Blues Wine Festival in July.

Robert Plant is expected to be in Malta for two days, and will be playing at an as-yet-undisclosed location between July 16 and July 18. A spokesperson for Classic Rock Promotions told MaltaStar.com that the legendary singer, who started his solo career in the early Eighties following the breakup of LED ZEPPELIN in 1980, is expected to give Maltese rockers the experience of a lifetime, with a setlist that will include all-time classics such as “Whole Lotta Love”, “Stairway to Heaven” and “Kashmir”.
